Happy Mother's Day everyone! Today has been a special one for me. We had a nice brunch with my mom and dad, David, Katy and crew. The hospital has also helped us celebrate Mother's Day by providing food and t-shirts. However the person that has helped make this day the most special is that little baby boy. He's doing really well today and seems very comfortable. He's still having a lot of "bradys" but they do seem a little less than before. They are also continuing to wean his vent settings and are hoping to have him back on the "C-pap" settings by tonight or tomorrow. This morning when we got here his eyes were wide open and he seemed really alert. His eyes locked on his dad's while he sang him German lullabies. It has been a special day.

It's amazing how many times I feel pulled to Dinky's link at peculiar hours--this time a couple of minutes after 3 on this sunny, beautiful day--only to find that you have just posted the latest Dinky news! There is a definite bit of electricity here, growing out of abiding love.
Having divulged that, I will now send heaping measures of that love to the three of you on your first Mother's Day. Thanks again for all you do to share Dinky's and your experience with those of us who are scattered all over, but united in love and admiration. love...

Mary forgot to mention the fouth person who can put that beautiful smile on Jen's face in a special way and at times that no one else can. That's her. Jen's soulmate, heartmate and the epitomy of what "mother" was meant to mean.
Happy Mother's Day to one of my favorite mothers! I will see you in less than a week and I CAN'T WAIT!
