Not a lot to report today so I thought I'd just share a picture of our little one. His nurse, Veronica, would often take pictures of him and add the sweetest little notes. This one is our favorite. He hasn't been able to be on his belly in a week now but boy he loves it. He was very quiet today but will probably have a busy week.
Some of you (Dobie) have asked us to describe our boy. He is difficult to put into words. He has eyes that are often hard to open because he's a little swollen but boy he's sure cute when he tries. His forehead crinkles up and travels half way up his head. When he does get them open their color is up for debate. I say brown, Martin says a really dark blue. As you can see from the picture he has the cutest button nose in Philly. And now that his breathing tube is in his nose he is discovering his cute little mouth and tongue and loves to blow "raspberries" with it. He has long hands and feet with slim little fingers that like to grasp everything within their reach, especially a finger. When he straightens out his scrawny little legs he has the wrinkly, fleshy knees of a baby elephant. And I mean that in the best way. He is eye candy, that's for sure.

Thank you so much for the adorable little picture of Dinky you so graphically and ably developed with words!! Now, those images are forever in my head for me to flip to during the many times a day when I think of him. Tomorrow for sure, rub his little cheek for me and stroke those long fingers. Tell him Dobie sends much love...
He is beautiful! A miracle! That really is the cutest button nose in the Northeast! :)
