Here's a picture of Dinky taking a nap in his new outfit from "Aunt Sue". I'm especially fond of this one because it says, "I love my mommy". He had another good day today (and yesterday). He's doing well on the 2L of oxygen. Today they stopped his morphine. It has been a long, slow process to get him weaned as he has been on either morphine or fentanyl almost his whole life. He keeps gaining weight and is now 8 pounds 13 ounces!! We are really excited at how well he's doing

It really struck me when you said,
"his whole life". Seems to me that Dinky, you and Martin, family and friends, have lived lives that we never knew through Dinky. Many weeks ago, you said that we were learning lots from Dinky... but even then, did you really know.
Wow. How could that little, now bigger, "pooter" know that he is teaching us all about life?
We are all blessed already by his "whole life". Can't wait to see what more we learn from the little man.

I am so happy that things continue to go well..I think the size of diapers is amazing! He has really made huge progress.. AND the fussy times around 5.. that is NORMAL baby stuff! For some reason all babies ( I guess I shouldn't say all) fuss in the early evening! Go figure! Take care.. Bethany
Awww. Edison looks so peaceful in that photo. I am quite the proud "aunt" seeing him in the cute little outfit that I bought for him.
What a long way Edison has come! I am so happy for you and Martin, and all the rest of us who have come to love Dinky in such powerful ways.
