Sorry it's been a few days since I've updated....
Dinky's doing great! He has been completely off oxygen for 3 days which is just incredible to us. We are enjoying seeing his face without anything else on it. He's a very handsome boy :)
They are continuing to increase his g-tube feeds and if all goes well he'll reach full feeds in a little over 2 weeks.
Yesterday I put his little rattle on his chest and he reached up to grab it and started shaking it. This was a huge step. Little milestones like this are just amazing to watch. We are still working on his head control but we'll get there. He has been more "drooly" and has been "gumming" his pacifier so we are beginning to suspect he might cut his first tooth in the hospital. I have to admit that's not a milestone we thought we would reach here. As long as he doesn't take his first steps in the hospital!!

I have to sometimes pinch myself to make sure this Dinky is the same one we so recently fretted and worried over! He's come so far, thanks to you two and the wonderful caregivers at CHOP and RWJ. Ma gave me one of the wallet-sized shots of him with his eyes cast upward and his angelic little smile. I framed and mounted it on the console of my car (think seafoam-colored Mazda 3 instead of red Tracker!), and now I watch over him and he watches over me as I drive. Sweet thing! love...

At this point, nothing that our Dinky, Eddie, Spunky, Drooly, Gummy, Stinky, does should be a surprise. He has earned the right to offer up surprises every day of his life--- from this day on.
WOW. His "little milestones" seem like boulders compared to what most of us face each day. Keep it up little-big man.
May he "shake" his rattle, "rattle" and "roll" from now on.
